Medallion calathea thrives in medium to bright indirect light but can withstand low indirect light. Water when the soil is half way dried out, which may be about every one to two weeks. You’ll want to water it more often in brighter light and less in lower light. Medallion calathea likes some humidity, so if your living space is dry you might want to put it on a pebble tray. Calatheas can be pretty fast growing under the right circumstances, so you’ll probably want to repot it once a year, in the spring.
