This plant is an easy tropical that can survive low light conditions. Really, you don’t want it to get too much light—direct sunlight can cause leaf burn. Average/warm temps are best for the this plant. Only water when dry, which may only be about once a week. In the winter, this plant may need even less water. Philodendron brasil can be placed in a hanger so that the vines drape down. But be mindful of your pets and wee humans—this plant is toxic. Repotting may be needed every two to three years and should be done in the spring or summer.
