Norfolk pines are endemic to Norfolk Island in the Pacific Ocean and they’ve become a staple of holiday decor around the world. However, keep these quaint little trees indoors because they won’t survive the cold outdoor temperatures of northern hemisphere winters.
In the right pot, with the right care, these trees can grown up to six to eight feet in your home. To look their best, Norfolk pine need bright light but could tolerate lower light.
Keep the medium it’s in evenly moist because if it dries out too much the lower branches will turn brown and fall off. This plant needs high humidity, so keep it on a pebble tray, especially with a heater running.
