Anthurium

Well cared for, anthuriums can provide you gorgeous blooms for a long time. 

Bright, indirect light is best for anthuriums. Keep them consistently wet through the growing season of spring to the end of summer but don’t overwater. Water when the top one to two inches are dry. Come fall and winter, less water is needed. This plant also likes high humidity, so considering place it on a pebble tray. Fading and dying flowers should be removed as soon as you notice them. This will help the plant focus its energy on new growth. In the winter, give your anthurium a six week rest during the winter. This means lower temperatures, lower light, and drier soil. This will help the plant produce more flowers in the spring and summer.
